Don lived in Whistler during the early days from 1975 to 1983 when he and his partner owned and operated a number of local businesses, including the Husky service station complex and the Grocery Store in the Town Centre. Don is an alumnus of the Whistler Volunteer Fire Department, having served for 6 years, and a graduate of the University of Toronto. After working and raising his family in Vancouver and skiing at Whistler he returned as part of the ReMax sales team.
